Berlin's (and arguably Europe's!) Best Clubs

Berghain/Panorama Bar
Considered by many to be the best club in Europe, Berghain is infamous for being A) hard to find, B) really hard to get into, and C) so amazingly fun that by the time you stumble out you'll be amazed to find that it's already noon. And the guy at the door is legendary...go there and you'll see what I mean.... www.berghain.de

Tresor
Tresor was a Berlin nightlife staple for 14 years until it was forced to close in 2004. Now in it´s new location, it´s back and better than ever. Three floors of dance rooms in what was an old energy station, Tresor is definitely a club experience you'll only get in Berlin. www.tresorberlin.de

Sage
Sage is a popular standby club, consistently good, with a cool lounge area where you can stretch out if you're tired of dancing and buy food if you need fuel to continue on into the night. www.sage-club.de

Maria am Ostbahnhof
Just your typical, huge industrial Berlin club. www.clubmaria.de

Watergate
Watergate is a little far but it´s right on the river, and the wall to floor windows overlooking the bridge make it a uniquely aesthetically pleasing club atmosphere. www.water-gate.de

Russian Disko/Kaffee Burger
Kaffe Burger is a cool bar that hosts different literary and musical events, but once every two weeks it hosts the Russian Disco. Crazy dancing to Russian Music, basically an excuse for everyone to jump around wildly. DEFINITELY worth going to if you feel energetic. www.kaffeeburger.de
