Socio-legal Tours

During the conference, we offer a number of tours that concern socio-legal topics. Most of them are on Friday afternoon, but some - like visits at the Tegel penitentiary and the court visits - are on Wednesday and Thurday. Book early! Note that you have to choose between the bus tours and the socio-legal tours. We invite you to get to know these places and their stories and to sit in on the current state-of-art of sciences, which opens a different exposure to the history of migration. We offer conference participants interested in learning about the German court system guided visits to three types of Courts. Participants will get an introduction in English will have the opportunity to observe a part of a court procedure and to meet with the judge afterwards to ask questions.
